Meet Liz!
Liz Novotny has an educational background having previously taught in the Minneapolis Public School district for six years before transitioning toward her second career as a Realtor and finding her true passion working in Real Estate. She began this second career negotiating short sales for distressed buyers during the great recession in the early 2000’s and previously held the Certified Distressed Property Expert accreditation before later obtaining her Old Home Certification. Liz thrives on the opportunity to educate both buyers and sellers on the real estate sale process and has found a way to ensure all of her clients are represented thoroughly through her agency agreements.
Liz has spent ten+ years years residing, shopping, and dining in Northeast Minneapolis. With many thriving small business owners, an ever-growing art district, and the frequent additions of breweries & distilleries to quench one's most elite tastes, Northeast Minneapolis has something for everyone. She has served on a few of Minneapolis’ neighborhood boards, is the current co-chair of Minneapolis Nature Preschool and is a member of NE Minneapolis’ Fair State Brewery. Being a part of the community and sharing voices for the often unheard is what drives Liz each morning.
Liz takes respite in nature while camping, canoeing or walking through the woods. She often suggests hiking as a way to work through problems that too often need the fresh air that only thousands of trees can provide. You can also find Liz discussing the days events at her local brewery/distillery with her friends, family and clients all while supporting small businesses.
